I have to admit, getting tarot readings is one of my crazy past times. I even have my own deck, not that I pretend to have any intuitive powers or anything. Just fun to play around and see what comes up. Then one day, THE TAROT CARD SAID THERE WOULD BE A BIRTH IN THE FAMILY. Now I have two young adult daughters…ages 18 and 21, so I got a little worried. OK, had a brief talk with the oldest who has a beau and put that out of my mind. With that little piece of parenting done I realized that it was going to be a different kind of birth.
You see, about 6 months ago I decided to restart my private coaching practice that I had abandoned about 3 years prior for a great job opportunity. So I set to work building the infrastructure of the business and, as all good entrepreneurs do, set about to answer the question – what will be my special niche/my product? I know I’m a good coach, really good – but I had gone down the path of just trying to help EVERYBODY and found that to be quite difficult. I needed to narrow the message a bit.
Then, one day as I was out on a power walk around a beautiful lake, feeling pretty darn content and happy, I started to reflect on where my life was just 5 years earlier. Not good. Relationship problems, money problems, children problems, ex-husband problems all had me in a very very difficult and dark place. And yet, here I was, on that day – in love with my life, just feeling so happy with who I was, where I was and, more importantly, where I was going.
Then it hit me – that’s my message, that’s my focus. I had bounced back in a big way over the last few years and I had done it very purposefully – learning a great deal along the way.
So, that is how Love After… was born. A program that is all about bouncing back from life’s little kicks in the teeth. I gathered my journals, the readings and programs I had learned from, success stories from other people and developed this program full of the strategies that had brought me back from my lowest point to a life that I just know is full of possibilities, love, and contentment.
So this, being my first blog of my new business – and being sent out into the world on this day is the birth that the tarot card was signifying. I’m so excited to be introducing this mission of mine, to help others get to a life they are totally in love with, and I welcome you to the party!
